Health and social services centres

When you need to see a doctor or, for instance, get physiotherapy, contact your Health and social services centre. Health and social services centres are, in principle, determined by place of residence. If your centre is in Lahti, Nastola, Iitti, Kärkölä, Hollola, Asikkala or Padasjoki, please contact us primarily through the digital clinic.

In addition to doctor’s and nurse’s appointments, Health and social services centres also offer other local health services, such as dental care and counseling services, basic rehabilitation and assistive services. You can book an appointment with a nurse or doctor at the Health and social services centre, and it also helps with sudden illnesses, such as various infectious diseases or inflammation, during opening hours without an appointment.

Services also include direct appointment by a physiotherapist of musculoskeletal disorders for clients over the age of 16 who have a sudden onset of fire without an accident or fever. You can be referred directly to a physiotherapist through an outpatient nurse, an assessment of the need for emergency care or Omaolo musculoskeletal symptoms.

In the Päijät-Häme welfare area, health and social services centres are either extensive service centers (Asikkala, Hollola, Lahti, Nastola and Orimattila), where in addition to the doctor’s and nurse’s appointment, e.g., imaging services are available. The basic level health and social services centres (Hartola, Iitti, Kärkölä, Myrskylä, Padasjoki, Pukkila) have a narrower range of services, which are supplemented by a wide range of service centers if necessary.
